At the Candidates' Forum, in my opening statement, I summarized why I’m running and why it’s been my honor to serve our community for the past 11 months. And if you have the time, please watch the entire Forum video for a full understanding of where all the candidates stand on Summit’s important issues!
Jaime Levine (At-Large candidate): Jaime and her husband and two daughters have called Summit home for the past eight years. A physician who specializes in caring for patients with brain injuries, Jaime is a graduate of Duke University and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Jaime currently serves as the Councilmember-at-Large on Summit Common Council, after being appointed to her seat in October 2022. Jaime has served as a member of the Summit Zoning Board and currently serves as the Vice President of the Board at the Reeves Reed Arboretum, where she is using her professional expertise to help make the grounds more accessible to those with mobility differences. She is also the Secretary of the Board at the Beacon Hill Club and is an active member of Temple Sinai. Jaime is honored to be able to give back to our community in a meaningful way and is focused on bringing a fresh perspective to critical issues while helping to unite Summit.
